A few months ago, I made a decision that changed the way I work and live. I moved my base to Thailand. This move wasn’t about running away from the U.S. I wasn’t chasing a tropical escape or trying to reinvent myself. It was a deliberate decision rooted in one concept I’ve built my life around—leverage.
Leverage, to me, is the ability to create greater results with less force. It’s not just financial. It’s emotional, energetic, and strategic. It’s about designing a life that gives you more room to breathe, think, and create.
When I lived in the West, the rhythm was fast and demanding. Even when I was doing meaningful work, I often felt compressed by the pace and cost of maintaining that lifestyle. I wanted to experience what it would feel like to build wealth and impact from a place of calm instead of pressure. Living in Thailand changed everything about my equation. Financially, it’s one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made. The cost of living here gives me freedom I didn’t have before. My expenses dropped, but my quality of life went up. What once felt like a luxury—beautiful pool villa, healthy fresh food, weekly massages, and weekend getaways—are now part of normal life. That’s leverage in action. Earning in stronger currencies while spending in a country where quality doesn’t require excess creates real breathing space. It allows me to reinvest more into my business, my growth, and my peace. But the real power isn’t only in the numbers. It’s in the nervous system. Thailand slowed me down in the best way possible. The sun, the ocean, the community, the slower pace of life—all of it recalibrated my energy. I began to realize how much creativity and clarity come when you’re not operating in constant tension. When your body feels safe, your mind expands. You think more strategically. You lead better. You create from a grounded place. That’s energetic leverage. And it’s the kind that doesn’t just change your business—it changes who you are when you show up to lead it.
The third layer of leverage I’ve discovered is global. I still work with clients around the world. My income is international. My business runs online. But my lifestyle is offline. It's local, simple, and deeply fulfilling. Living in Thailand gives me the best of both worlds: the reach of a global entrepreneur and the groundedness of a life lived intentionally. This move reminded me that wealth isn’t just about accumulation. It’s about alignment. True wealth happens when your environment supports your purpose, when your time is truly your own, and when your peace of mind isn’t something you have to earn on weekends. Moving to Thailand was a conscious redefinition of success. It was choosing leverage—financial, energetic, and creative—over struggle. That, to me, is freedom.
